In this workshop, we’ll explore the basics of health through nutrition and help you get started creating your own personalized holistic health plan.

Bio:
Alice Moore is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Since 1998 she has counseled hundreds of women in learning to eat whole foods and living extraordinary lives. She managed Integrative Nutrition's Health Counseling Program to the public, mentored students through training programs and taught cooking classes. After 5 years at the school, she maintained a private practice and worked with healing centers including: Healing Spirits and Sea Change Healing Center. She has taught numerous classes on whole foods, women's nutrition and spiritual growth at many companies including: The Actor's Institute, National Basketball Association and Grey Advertising. Currently Alice has joined Darshana Weill and the team at Fruition Women's Health. She is the Team Leader and Senior Health Counselor at their San Francisco location. Alice continues to follow her passion of helping women awakening to their truths and transform their relationship to food and their bodies. She is available for free initial consultations. Improve Vitality with Qigong and

Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing art for strengthening the body's vital energy (qi). It is comprised of a series of slow, precise, graceful movements and breathing exercises to increase qi. Qigong can be practiced by people of all ages anywhere. The benefits of a regular practice include improved circulation, enhanced immune function, increased energy, better focus, flexibility & strength, and overall health. Qigong exercises combined with proper nutrition helps unlock the potential we all have to be at our best. In this lecture we will discuss the history, theory and practice of Qigong as well as healing with readily accessible whole foods.  

A certified personal trainer, yoga facilitator, qigong instructor and professional dancer, Tiffany Barbarash has shared her love of movement with the community as an instructor and guest artist for a number of organizations locally, nationally and internationally.  Tiffany's unique understanding of the body has developed from more than 10 years of dance, yoga, pilates, fitness, and movement experience. She incorporates the methodology of physical training, kinesiology and exercise science with healing arts practices, Eastern philosophies and creativity to bring a fresh, holistic perspective to achieving optimal health.
